Shakespeare to Go-A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Today the P4 students had an opportunity to be a part of the Shakespeare4All performance.  This group has come previously and introduced the students to the greatest writer, William Shakespeare and the various parts of elements of drama.  The play which was performed was ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ in the form of a live radio broadcast.  Some of the students were selected to participate through making the sound effects and playing a part in the script.  There was also plenty of audience participation and opportunities to try reenacting some of the character’s signature movements.  There were some other short pieces performed as well and comical commercial breaks.  Overall the student’s thoroughly enjoyed the performance and they had a wonderful time.
